About Paula M. Brochu

Paula Brochu, Ph.D., is a social psychologist with interest in prejudice, stereotyping, discrimination, and stigma. Much of her research focuses on weight bias, or negative attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors directed to people who are perceived to carry excess weight.  Dr. Brochu also examines the consequences of weight bias and stigma on health and well-being.
