About Paul W. Eloe

Paul Eloe is a Professor of Mathematics. He is trained as a classical analyst and has studied questions related to differential equations for many years. He prefers the expression functional equations (as compared to say algebraic equations). Study of functional equations can be quite theoretical and abstract; the study also gives rise to immediate and important applications. He is interested in both aspects. Paul is the director of the department's graduate programs and recently served as department chairperson.
