About Paul J. Becker

After receiving his doctorate from Bowling Green State University, Paul Becker joined the University of Dayton in fall 2002 as an Associate Professor for the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work. He is affiliated with the Criminal Justice Studies program and is an academic advisor for the Pre-Law program. His research interests include hate crime; right-wing extremist groups; corporate crime; green criminology; animals and society; and visual sociology and criminology. His research has been published in numerous journals, governmental news sources, and encyclopedias.
