About Paul Sanders

I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Michigan Technological University and hold associate professorship positions with the Department of Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics and the School of Technology. I am also on the faculty of science at Deakin University. I worked in materials research for 10 years at the Ford Motor Company before coming to Michigan Tech. I completed my postdoctoral studies in laser material processing at Argonne National Laboratory and in the material science kinetics group at Harvard University.
