About Paul Niemuth, PT, DSc, OSC, ATC, LAT

Dr. Niemuth received a Bachelor’s Degree in both Physical Therapy and Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse in 1977, a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of St. Thomas in 1997, and a Doctor of Science Degree in Sports Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2003.  Dr. Niemuth is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopadics as well as a Certified Athletic Trainer.  He worked in an outpatient orthopedics/sports medicine clinic from 1977 until joining the faculty at St. Catherine University in 1997.  He currently serves the University as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and is the Director of the Student Physical Therapy Clinic on campus.  He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is the Past President of the Minnesota Chapter.  Dr. Niemuth’s primary teaching and research responsibilities includes topics in anatomy and orthopaedic/sports physical therapy.
