About Paul C. Loikith

My research interests lie at the intersection of weather and climate. Impacts from anthropogenic climate change are being felt through changes in weather and extreme events with larger changes anticipated for the future. My research focuses on understanding the physical mechanisms associated with extreme events and how they will change in the future using observations and climate model simulations.

Head of Climate Science Lab. The Climate Science Lab (CSL) is a group of climate scientists, meteorologists, and physical geographers working on a range of applied and basic weather and climate research.
