Abstract
Effects of trade policies and economic variables which exert an influence on international wheat trade between the United States and less developed countries (LDC's) are summarized in this article. A method for statistical analysis of regional U.S. wheat export demand is presented with an application of this method for selected LDC's.
A forthcoming article features an analysis of the demand for U.S. wheat in Japan and the European Community.
