Faculty Member
Paul Beretz is Managing Director of Pacific Business Solutions, a company he created in 1999. In addition, he is a founding partner of Q2C (Quote to Cash) Solutions. He brings over 30 years of global, corporate experience in finance and management with industries such as telecommunications, semi-conductors, forest products, chemicals, plastics and consumer products among others. His expertise includes analyzing opportunities and providing resolutions in the order-through-collect cycle for manufacturers, distributors and service companies located worldwide.
Paul has taught management and finance courses for UC Berkeley, Michigan State University, Arizona State University, a summer executive course at Dartmouth College and as a guest lecturer for BA undergrads at the U. of Notre Dame.
He has helped develop and teaches certificate courses in finance and management for professionals around the world who want to export their products or services. For a local business association, he created and instructs in two on-line certificate courses, “Understanding Financial Statement Analysis” and “Business Credit Principles.”
In a national election by alumni in 1983, Paul was elected to a three-year term on the board of directors of the University of Notre Dame Alumni Association representing all ND alumni located in the thirteen western states.
In the years 2008-2009, Paul served as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Export-Import Bank of the U.S. In this capacity, he was one of three representatives on the twelve-member Ex-Im board who represented the interests of small businesses in the U.S.
