Editing Burns for the 21st Century

Abstract
Identifies the subsequent history of the autograph manuscript of Robert Burns's song "My Love is like a red, red rose" recorded by Kinsley (1968) and the Index of English Literary Manuscripts (1986) only as privately owned by the Boston collector Frank B. Bemis (1861-1935), and presents new research on its pre-20th century provenance and its probable original recipients.
