About Patrice Tremoulet

My research uses information about human behavior, abilities and limitations to design and evaluate tools that improve safety, productivity, and/or health. I recently completed a project that focused on improving the usability of the discharge documents for patients and/or caregivers that are generated by electronic health records, and I am currently leading an effort at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia exploring how to ensure that children can ride safely in self-driving vehicles. I am also helping a local start-up company ensure that their new technology is relevant, useful, and engaging to its target audience.
