About Pasquale Tridico

Pasquale Tridico is a Jean Monnet Professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Roma Tre in Rome (Italy) where he also teaches: Labour Economics and Economic Development. He is also General Secretary of the EAEPE and Member of the Scientific Committees of two masters (Univ. Roma Tre); of the research Center ASTRIL; QA – Rivista dell’Associazione Rossi Doria; Zarzadzanie Publiczne, (Polish journal „Public Governance”), member of several academic associations, and referee for several academic journals and involved in national and international research projetcs. He did a PhD on Transition economics. During his PhD he was working (with a Marie-Curie Fellowship) at the Sussex University in Brighton (UK), and in Warsaw, at the Warsaw School of Economics (Poland). During his 3 years of post doctoral research he was working in a European Project (VI Framework progect) in several Universities: Trinity College of Dublin (Ireland), New Castle University (UK), Lancaster University (UK) and Warsaw University (Poland). In the fall of 2009 he was visiting research scholar at the University of Los Angeles in California (UCLA). He his currently external Research Associate at the Institute for International Integration Studies (IIIS), at Trinity College in Dublin and Visiting Professor at the Wroclaw University of Economics. For the academic year 2010-11 he got a FULBRIGHT-SCHUMAN at the New York University. His main research focuses on Labour Economics; Financial crisis; Varieties of Capitalism; Determinant of Economic Development in Transition and Emerging Economies.
