Hyun Kwon is a professor of engineering and chair of the Department of Engineering. Hyun J. Kwon grew up in South Korea and came to the United States to pursue a PhD from the University of Louisville. She joined Andrews University as an assistant professor after she finished her post-doctoral training at the University of Maryland. She teaches various engineering subjects including control theory, heat transfer and thermodynamics, among others.

Rodney Summerscales is an assistant professor of computer science with a PhD in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is interested in automatic methods for extracting experimental results from scientific publications for the purpose of summarization.

Padma Tadi Uppala is a professor of public health and director of the Bachelor of Science in public health. She has a doctorate in tumor biology from Loma Linda University and a doctorate in environmental toxicology from the University of California Riverside.
