About Oscar T McKnight Ph.D.

Dr. McKnight believes in life-long learning and research. In his doctorate program, Dr. McKnight’s concentration area was statistics, analysis, and psychometrics. He also has a graduate degree, specifically in Research and Evaluation. As such, Dr. McKnight is active in independent studies. Most of his research is proprietary and ranges from non-profit analysis to corporate forecasting.

Dr. McKnight, as a mental health professional, brings over 35 years of experience as both a practitioner and administrator. As an independent research consultant, he has a history of directing program evaluations, service delivery assessments, and economic development and community service audits. Also, Dr. McKnight has coordinated and completed many marketing studies and introduced strategic plans for several public campaigns promoting mental health levies.

Dr. McKnight is currently the Director of Psychological Counseling and Health Services and Associate Dean for Student Affairs at a private comprehensive university in the mid-west. As a mental health professional, he brings over 35 years of experience as both a practitioner and administrator.

Dr. McKnight also has a history of teaching as an Adjunct Associate Professor in a College of Arts and Sciences and within a College of Business and Economics. His business focus is Consumer Behavior, Predictive Modeling, and Test and Measurement.

Dr. McKnight has over 25 years of published research, professional presentations, and involvement with higher education assessment, including retention, admission, program evaluation, long-term strategic planning and university branding. Also, he continues to develop programs and evaluate outcomes for both Mental Health Counseling and Health Services.

Although Dr. McKnight is active as a field investigator and concentrates primarily on proprietary research; he continues to contribute as a scholar; as exemplified by being honored with six “Best Paper” Awards and the “Distinguished Paper” Award from the Marketing Management Association. Also, Dr. McKnight received the ACPA “Outstanding Research Award” in higher education (American College Personnel Association). He has three university Mentor Awards to his credit.

Dr. McKnight is successful in business; he founded and is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Scientific Legal Services, LLC. He also has a history of developing specialty decision-support, artificial intelligence programs within the legal field, and apps for mental health.
