Abstract
The paper seeks to examine the Sickle Cell Anemia (Prevention, Control and Management) Bill, 2009 from a rights perspective particularly as it relates to the miscellaneous provisions contained in section 12(4) of the Bill which is found to though well-intended but runs contrary to the age-long principle of non-discrimination
