About Ondotimi Songi
Ondotimi is a PhD Candidate at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP), University of Dundee researching on the policy, legal and institutional frameworks for community benefit sharing in energy and extractive industry projects with funding from the CEPMLP. He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria having passed the Bar Finals Examinations with a second class upper in 2007. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree with a second class upper from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (now Rivers State University), Port Harcouurt, Nigeria under the combined funding of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN), and Shell Petroleum Development Company Limited, Nigeria. He possesses a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in Natural Resources Law and Policy with distinction from the CEPMLP, University of Dundee with funding from the FGN's Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).
