About Olivier Doutres Ph.D.

I am an Adjunct professor at École de technologie supérieure (Montréal, Quebec, Canada). I received my PhD from the Laboratoire d'Acoustique at Le Mans University (LAUM, France) in September 2007 and I worked 5 years at the GAUS laboratory (Sherbrooke, Canada) as a post-doc fellow and research assistant.
My researches are mainly focused on sound absorbing materials used for noise control in aircraft, spacecraft, automobile, buildings, hearing protections and several other engineering applications.
