About Olayinka Ariba

Olayinka Ariba is a doctoral student in Health Promotion at the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Science. Her area of research focuses on ending women’s homelessness. She looks at the experience of homeless women facing child separation. Olayinka won the Community Hero’ award and an International Student Excellence Award at the University of Central Lancashire, UK.
She obtained a Bachelor of Science. Education (BSc/B.Ed.)in Chemistry from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and Master of Science (MSc) Public Health from the University of Central Lancashire focused on reproductive health, maternal and child’s health. She is a member of the Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research. Olayinka has extensive international experience working with international organization such as British Heart Foundation, Breast Cancer Care, UK and UNICEF.
