Student Transition ProgrammingUnited Way-Sponsored Professional Development (2013)
AbstractALL students, but especially those with obstacles to overcome in their lives, benefit from being connected to school and community resources that can help ensure a smooth and successful transition from one educational environment to the next. Three panelists also shared the successful Elementary to Middle School; Middle School to High School; and High School to Higher Education programs that they have developed and implemented within a variety of settings, both urban and rural.
