I am a freelance agricultural writer and hold a PhD in History from the University of Guelph. My media work looks at a variety of issues pertaining to farmers and Canadian agriculture, and in history I have investigated nineteenth and twentieth-century rural Canada, cultural and economic history, and the history of the Canadian Postal Service.
