Abstract
The Thai Constitutional Court has been mentioned extensively by local and international scholars and not always in the most positive way. The original dataset of all decisions for the period 2008-2014 is assembled in this paper and the determinants of dissent are analyzed. The findings indicate that there is some evidence that dissent is related to pro-constitutional and pro-administration decisions. The role of individual judges is further explored and the research concludes with a more positive tone than previous literature.
