Farmers Market-Organizational Ecology Approach
  • Nripendra Singh, Iowa State University

Farmers Markets (FMs) are famous for fresh produce and economic importance to local farmers. They have been into existence for a long time in United States, yet there success is not guaranteed. Many of them survive for a couple years before they close. The objective is to provide inputs to promote research on FMs. The effort is to adopt organizational ecology approach, which seems to deliver solutions for FMs sustainable growth.
