My research program is aimed at elucidating and characterizing cellular and molecular pathway(s) that trigger and perpetuate neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative changes in events and evolving pathologies that cause cerebrovascular damage as in Alzheimer’s disease, traumatic brain injury, aging, and postoperative delirium in the elderly.
