Abstract

This paper discusses Cambourne’s [1,2] “Conditions of Learning” from an engineering perspective. Examples of how these conditions translate in an engineering environment are presented. Based on the author’s experience, when these conditions are met in engineering classes, the learning process of the students as well as their enjoyment and appreciation of the subject are greatly enhanced.
