National Council of Less Commonly Taught Languages (NCOLCTL) Conference (2015)

Abstract
Summary: This workshop helped teachers understand the four factors that build self-efficacy in foreign language learning. We illustrated various ways to apply these principles with examples from Arabic, Chinese, French, Persian, and Turkish language programs. The workshop had a decided pragmatic focus, giving participants an understanding for each principle and providing them with ample opportunity to outline their own ideas for practically applying the principles to their own language program.
