About Nicole M. Herzog

Dr. Nicole M. Herzog came to Boise State University in 2017 and is currently a lecturer in the Department of Anthropology. She received a Ph.D. in Anthropology focusing on Evolutionary Ecology and an M.S. in Anthropology focusing on Evolutionary Ecology and Archaeology both from the University of Utah, and a B.A. in Anthropology and Psychology from the University of Montana. Dr. Herzog’s primary research foci involve behavioral and evolutionary ecology, past diet reconstruction, and archaeobotany among others. She is currently a member of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists, the Society for American Archaeology, and the Great Basin Anthropological Association.
