About Nicole L. Cundiff

Dr. Nicole L. Cundiff joined Boise State University in 2020 and is currently an assistant clinical professor with the Department of Management and the faculty coordinator for program assessment in institutional effectiveness. She earned a Ph.D. in Applied Psychology, an M.A. in Applied Experimental Psychology, an M.B.A. in Business Administration (Management), and a B.A. in Psychology all from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Dr. Cundiff’s research includes a focus on leadership development and education as well as the influence of emotional intelligence in negotiation and mediation. She is a member of the American Evaluation Association, multiple divisions of the Academy of Management, and the Organizational Behavior Teaching Society, and is currently the associate editor for the Journal of Leadership in Management.

As the faculty coordinator for program assessment in institutional effectiveness Dr. Cundiff provides consultations and outreach to faculty and staff in academic departments and programs in planning, implementing, and utilizing assessment for the continuous improvement of student learning; coordinates the peer reviewer process for PARs; collaborates with the General Education Committee, and supports instructional development opportunities offered in conjunction with the Center for Teaching and Learning.
