Journal of Instruction Delivery Systems (2005)

Abstract
"Augmented Reality has the potential to transform job task training by creating new mixed reality worlds that serve as a medium for learning. AR is a virtual environment generated through machine vision and computer graphics technology that merges real and virtual objects in unified, spatially integrated scenes. Recent advances in technology are enabling the development of AR systems that are wearable and will enable job task training in real world settings. This paper examines the development of an AR system designed to facilitate learning of a specified aerospace job task."--From the publisher's website.
