About Nicholas Pusateri

Nic Pusateri, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Welch College of Business & Technology at Sacred Heart University. Nic’s research interests include applied macro, labor, and monetary economics, with a particular interest in using the tools of applied macroeconomics to help make sense of real-world puzzles. Using the power of empirical analysis, taking heterogeneity seriously, and, most importantly, capitalizing on the economic way of thinking, Nic’s work has contributed to the puzzles of merger and acquisition determinants as well as the cause of jobless recoveries.He is the recipient of several awards/fellows such as Mason Core Synthesis Teaching Award from George Mason University and Human Studies Fellow from the Institute for Humane Studies.

Dr. Pusateri received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of the South and completed his Ph.D. in Economics at George Mason University.
