About Dr. Nelly Cardinale

Dr. Nelly Cardinale has taught Computer Science at Eastern Florida State College for the last 25 years. She is a first generation American born to a family from Puerto Rico. She was raised in the South Bronx section of New York City. She is also bilingual and speaks, reads and writes Spanish. Nelly has a BA degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida, which is located in Tampa, Fl. Additionally, she has an MS degree in Computer Education from the Florida Institute of Technology, which is located in Melbourne, Fl. Moreover, she recently earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in International Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University, which is located in Boston, MA.
In her spare time, she loves reading true crime novels, inspirational true stories, and books about the paranormal. She does more than just read about the paranormal, however. She also loves going on ghost hunts/tours, attending ghost hunting conferences, and has occasionally been a member of groups that investigate local and national haunted locations.
She just celebrated her 29th wedding anniversary on August 17th, 2014. She has two sons, ages 26 and 21. Nelly acquired her first computer in 1979 and considers herself one of the original computer geeks. She is a certified CompTia A+, Network+, and Linux+ Professional.
