About Neil Smart

Associate Professor Neil Smart is The University of New England's program co-ordinator for the degrees in Exercise and Sport Science, Clinical Exercise Physiology and Sport Studies. He brings a wealth of practical, academic and research skills to his role.
Prior to joining Bond's Faculty of Health Science and Medicine in 2006, Dr Smart lectured at the University of North London and Griffith University, drawing on his clinical experience as an exercise physiologist working in cardiac rehabilitation.
His extensive research portfolio draws on his practical knowledge of using exercise to improve health outcomes for cardiac patients and his findings have contributed substantially to the body of knowledge in this key area of health management.
