About Neil Berthier

My research focuses on perceptual and motor development in human infants. I am primarily interested in how vision is used to guide reaching during infancy and in the development of motor control. I have active collaborations with students in the Neuroscience and Behavior Program and am a member of the developmental faculty in the Psychology Department. Because of my interests in motor development, I share research interests with members of the Autonomous Learning Laboratory of the Computer Science Department and with the Kinesiology Department. I am associated with the Developmental Science training program which has relationships with the Center for Research on Families
