Associate Professor, Paediatric Surgery
Neil Merritt is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Pediatric Surgery at Western University. He is also the Medical Director of Pediatric Trauma at the Children's Hospital at LHSC and Physician Lead Virtual Care for St. Joseph's Hospital and London Health Sciences Centre.

I am a graduate of McMaster University School of Medicine and achieved my residency at Queen’s University in General Surgery. I subsequently completed two fellowships at the University of Ottawa in Pediatric General Surgery and Pediatric Critical Care/Trauma. In 2009, I was appointed as Assistant professor in the Divisions of Pediatric Surgery and General Surgery at the University of Western Ontario. Most recently, I was elected as Director of Pediatric Trauma, in the Department of Surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario and London Health Sciences Centre.
