About Nancy Da Silva

Nancy Da Silva is a Professor in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology program in the School of Management at San Jose State University. She is also the Program Director of the Industrial and Organizational Psychology program.
Courses: Dr. Da Silva currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in survey development, statistics, and Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Research: Dr. Da Silva's research interests are in the area of positive psychology with a focus on organizational learning, job engagement, and employee creativity.
Consulting: Dr. Da Silva has consulted for the following organizations: Sapience Group, Survey and Policy Research Institute at San Jose State University, the Vandaveer Group, Inc., and FSD Data Services, Inc. Her consulting primarily focuses on survey development, validation of assessment tools, and statistical analyses.
Dr. Da Silva received her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and her Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston.
