About Nancy Stock

Professor Stock holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Lawrence Technological University and a Masters of Science in Applied Mathematics degree from Oakland University. She has worked as a college co-op and as an engineer at General Motors before coming to Kettering University (GMI) in 1990. Professor Stock is a hard-working, dedicated and conscientious teacher. She feels a genuine responsibility toward her students and their success in her classes.  She relates well to her students and has a good sense of their
needs.  She is capable of conveying material in an easy and effective manner.  Prof Stock’s lectures are well organized and easy to follow, complete with many examples.  Her delivery is comfortably paced and she encourages student participation.  Exploring the science of mathematics has always been a personal joy for her.  As a mathematics instructor, she can combine both her love of the subject with the challenge of teaching it.
