Dr. Nancy Nashid is a pediatric infectious disease specialist at the Children's Hospital (LHSC) and an assistant professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University.

Dr. Nancy Nashid completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Health Sciences, MD and postgraduate training in Paediatrics at McMaster University. Following residency, she pursued a fellowship in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at the Hospital for Sick Children, followed by a 2 year CIHR-funded Canadian HIV Trails Network postdoctoral fellowship. Since completing her fellowship in 2016, Dr. Nashid has held positions as a Clinical Associate in the Paediatric HIV clinic at SickKids and Locum Paediatric ID Consultant at Alberta Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Health Research Methodology at McMaster University.

Dr. Nashid’s clinical interests are in congenital infections and infections in vulnerable populations, with a particular interest in Paediatric HIV. Her research focus has been in improving patient outcomes and quality improvement.

Dr. Nashid joined the faculty in the Division of Paediatric Infectious Diseases at Children’s Hospital as an Assistant Professor in July 2019.
