Abstract
A mini thesis presented in the 6th grade of Medical University on "Emerging Scientist Day." Findings of a case-control study on 42 virgin girls age 6 - 15 years (one-time or recurrent patients of Pediatric Gynecology Unit at the University Maternal Hospital No 2) suggested that in 32.6% of patient logs with diagnosis of oophoritis dextra there was history of appendicitis or appendix removal (at SD 95% and P < 0.02). Comorbidity mechanisms were discussed.
