About Naeem Rahim, MD

A native of Pakistan, Dr. Rahim graduated from Aga Khan University Medical College and completed his residency at the Westchester Medical Center in New York. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Nephrology, and the National Kidney Foundation.
Dr. Rahim and his brother are proud recipients of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, the first Idahoans to receive this honor. Together, they own and operate the Idaho Kidney Institute, with offices in Pocatello, Blackfoot, and Idaho Falls.
The dialysis center at Bingham Memorial Hospital specializes in the treatment of chronic kidney disease. They employ state-of-the-art procedures and therapies to treat chronic kidney disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, post kidney transplant care, internal medicine, diabetes related kidney problems, anemia and dialysis.
Dr. Rahim is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi. He is an avid singer and a member of a local rock band. He also loves the outdoor opportunities in southeastern Idaho, including skiing and fishing. He and his wife have two handsome boys.
