Abstract
While identifying Invasive Alien Species (IAS) from different locations and aquatic habitats in Bangladesh, Corbicula fluminea (O. F. Müller, 1774), an invasive alien species belonging to the family Cyrenidae was recorded for the first time. Significant impacts caused by this invasive species were detected in a number of different habitats (river side, lake side, wetland, and stream) in Bangladesh.
