Monica Chiarini Tremblay is a Professor of Business at William & Mary's Raymond A. Mason School of Business. Dr. Tremblay received her Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems and a Masters in Information Systems from the University of South Florida and a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida. Before joining William & Mary, Dr. Tremblay was the Information Systems and Business Analytics Department's department chair at Florida International University School of Business. While at FIU, she received the university-wide Top Scholar award and multiple service and teaching awards. At William & Mary, the MSBA program presented her the Best Professor Award (2018-2019).
Professor Tremblay has a broad set of research interests in information systems. Her primary focus is design science research (DSR) in information systems (I.S.) and healthcare informatics. Other areas of concentration include conceptual modeling, data quality, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and health I.T., all within the context of complex societal problems, such as health disparities and foster care.
