Dr. Monica Huband has more than 10 years of teaching experience in public, private, and charter elementary schools. She specializes in teaching strategies designed to meet the needs of students in low-income, urban schools. Dr. Huband's research interests include school calendar organization, the socioeconomic achievement gap, urban education immersion programs for pre-service teachers, and classroom placement of multiple birth siblings.
