My research and teaching focus on my interests in enhancing equitable access to higher education, particularly for first-generation college students. I've taught at PSU in various roles (non-tenure track, adjunct, and grad student) since 2012. My interests are shaped by my experiences as a non-traditional student as well as professional practice with children and their families in early-childhood classrooms and teaching youth in a Freireian-inspired arts-based education program.
