About Mindy Ma

Mindy Ma, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at NSU's College of Psychology. Her research interests are in cardiovascular behavioral medicine and HIV prevention with a specific focus on minority health, health risk behaviors, and stress and coping.  Her primary research objective is to improve the health of underrepresented minority populations in the US and to make health equity an obtainable goal. She is a strong advocate of primary prevention and approaches wellness through the promotion of human virtues.
