Dr. Miguel Andres Figliozzi's main teaching and research areas include air quality and emissions modeling, electric and new vehicle technologies, freight and logistics, bicycles, and public transit operations. Dr. Figliozzi joined Portland State University in August 2007. His previous academic appointment was at the University of Sydney. Dr. Figliozzi works in partnership with local, regional, state, and federal transportation agencies, organizations, and private companies. He directs the Transportation Technology and People (TTP) research group. He is also a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Network Modeling Committee, Transportation and Logistics Committee, and Intermodal Terminal Design Committee. He is the faculty advisor of the ITE PSU student chapter.
