About Michelle Saunders

My research interests include atmospheric hazards, risk perception, and climatology. My current research focuses on understanding how Tampa Bay area residents use and value Doppler radar applications to make decisions about impending weather hazards. I am also interested in combining social science with physical geography to relate hazards and risk perception. I would like to further my career as a Geographer as this discipline bridges the gap between the physical and human aspects of weather and climate.
