About Michele Meltzer

I am a rheumatologist at Thomas Jefferson University who has an interest in promoting education about arthritis, gout, and medical ethics. There is a shortage of rheumatologists and thus teaching in this area is often deficient, especially in underserved areas. As a start I have posted two videos on the diagnosis and treatment of gout. I have emphasized that effective treatment of gout can be inexpensive and make a dramatic impact on the quality of life of the affected person. I hope to add additional videos to this site. I welcome comments.
