About Michael McGuinness

Dr. Michael McGuinness is Co-director of Human Gross Anatomy, a summer course taught to Physicians Assistants and Physical Therapists. He also teaches in both the gross anatomy and histology sections of Structural Principles of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. McGuinness's research interests have included estrogen response in Sertoli and Leydig cells and the application of estrogenic compounds in treatment of osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, cancer and infertility. Ongoing research continues to focuses on the effects of estrogens on cell interaction in the testis and their role in inflammation.
