Professor of Theological Studies
Dr. Michael Horan is Professor of Religious Education and Pastoral Theology and Graduate Program Director at Loyola Marymount University. Dr. Horan has ministered to youth and young adults in high schools and college campuses in New York and Washington, D.C. He holds a special interest in the preparation of lay ministers for leadership in the Catholic church.
Dr. Horan received his B.A. (magna cum laude) in Spanish and Religious Studies from Iona College in 1977 and both his M.R.E. and Ph. D. from The Catholic University of America in 1982 and 1989.
