Abstract
Librarians at Western Michigan University have worked with faculty in the Department of Theatre and the Department of Dance to integrate information literacy instruction into the sequence of courses in each department. In recent years, they have aligned this instruction with ACRL's Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education. The information literacy programming focuses not only on discipline specific academic and information literacy-related learning outcomes, but also on skills students will need for success in their post-collegiate lives.
