About Michael R. Crum

Mike teaches business logistics, supply chain management, and transportation management at both the graduate and undergraduate level. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 research publications, and he has been a principal investigator on three U.S. Department of Transportation research projects. He is the former editor of two academic journals and is currently on the editorial review boards of five academic journals. In 1988-89 he was a Fulbright Scholar at the Warsaw School of Economics in Warsaw, Poland. Mike earned his B.S., M.B.A., and D.B.A. degrees from Indiana University. Mike currently serves as Vice President for Economic Development and Business Engagement at ISU. He led the initiative to create the Office of Economic Development and Industry Relations (EDIR) which serves as the gateway or entry point to campus for organizations wanting to connect with the university’s research, technical and business expertise and capabilities.
