Description

According to Lawrence Kohlberg, most individuals reason at the level of “conventional morality,” whereas only a few individuals reason at a higher developmental level of morality. The latter can opt to challenge the status quo and become promotors of social justice with the power to change the course of human history. This lecture will examine Kohlberg’s “post-conventional morality” and the deeds of some best known historical figures that have spoken truth to power.
